DESCRIPTION:The tenth Forest Europe Ministerial Conference will be held in Stockholm on 2–3 June 2026. \nIn a time of significant social\, political and economic shifts\, and where shared challenges call for cooperation and joint solutions\, Forest Europe continues to serve as a vital platform. \nForest Europe has played the leading role in defining Sustainable Forest Management\, with a long history of promoting this dynamic concept across Europe. Forest Europe now stands at a pivotal moment. Ministers of Signatory countries are invited to come together to shape the future path — reaffirming commitment and guiding the next chapter in European forest policy. \nMinisters’ personal participations will be key in strengthening the role of forests\, the forest sector\, and the Forest Europe process. The Ministerial Conference will provide a unique opportunity to share national perspectives and showcase experiences in advancing Sustainable Forest Management. It is also an opportunity to learn from others\, gain new scientific insights\, and engage in dialogue on regional and transboundary cooperation. \nInvitation only. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the release of the State of Europe’s Forests 2025 (SoEF 2025) – Forest Europe’s flagship report. \nThe SoEF 2025 offers the most comprehensive overview of Europe’s forests – their condition\, trends and contributions to sustainable development. It is an essential reference for policymakers\, researchers and stakeholders\, supporting evidence-based decision-making and a shared understanding of Sustainable Forest Management in Europe. \nThe report is prepared by the European Forest Institute (EFI) and is based on the Joint Pan-European Data Collection (JPEDC) 2025 cycle\, led by UNECE with the support of FAO\, and developed in full integration with the pan-European data collection process. It reflects the dedicated work of national correspondents and experts across Europe\, whose contributions have been vital in ensuring the quality and consistency of the information presented. \n
